Paul Volcker & Tim Geithner Avoid Deficit/Tax Question...

What's going on in the Obama Administration? Volcker seemed very disrespectful to Maria Bartiromo on CNBC, especially when asked about the deficit. His voice elevated and seemed to be very agitated at being forced to answer her.
Same goes for Tim Geithner, when asked by David Gregory of 'Meet the Press'...HOW is the deficit going to be taken care of...Higher Taxes? Yet, the Treasury Secretary avoided the question numerous times...WHY?
